Visiting Villasimius is an excellent opportunity to see the southeast coast and the beautiful beaches of fine white sand and the emerald sea of the Marine Protected Area of Capo Carbonara. Spend a day relaxing on the beach, immersed in an atmosphere that will reconcile us with nature.
The enchanted beaches of Villasimius, where the sand is as smooth as silk and the sea as green as emerald, are the highlights of this relaxing day. The panoramic road that will take you from Cagliari to Villasimius begins with Mari Pintau (in Sardinian language “Painted Sea“), unbelievably amazing, where the color of the sea reflects the sky, due to its shallow sandy seabed and the transparent water.
Here the boats moored from above seem almost suspended in a dreamlike atmosphere: it will be hard to forget this little jewel set in the coast.From the panoramic points scattered along the road, you’ll admire the islands of Cavoli and Serpentara. We’ll take you to the Old Fortress, a sixteenth century coastal fortress that still retains all its charm and afterwards at the beach, where you will relax and enjoy the beautiful natural setting.
