Further information

San Sperate is a small town just 20 km far from Cagliari and it is known for being the birthplace of Pinuccio Sciola, a world famous sculptor who was able to give voice to the stones. We will discover the "Sound Garden", an open-air museum which inside hosts the megalithic sculptures made of different stone materials, surrounded by the scent of citrus trees. San Sperate is much more than a small peasant town, but a real open-air- in-progress-art gallery. It is infact a town famous for more than 300 murales that decorate the walls of the ancient houses: real masterpieces that tell the history and traditions of Sardinian peasant people with waterproof colors, graffiti and mixed techniques.
