Further information

The excursion, departing from Quartu Sant Elena, includes several panoramic points in off-road along the cliffside coast with a stop and explanation. We then continue to the Sette Fratelli park in the Baccu sa Figu area in the municipality of Castiadas, to enter the forest where an outdoor lunch will be organized (typical Sardinian platter, grilled meat, side dish, desserts, pane carasau, wine, water). Visit to the village of Castiadas with a historical explanation of the penal colony and return.

Sette Fratelli park with ten thousand hectares extending over the mountains, the area is one of the greenest and most charming places in Sardinia, a nature reserve full of pleasant surprises and breathtaking scenery in the southeast of the Island. The mountain range, consisting of seven peaks (which is where it gets its name), reaches heights of about one thousand metres: the highest is that of Serpeddì (1067 metres). The oasis is a triumph of nature, particularly for its woods and rare animal species.
